Samoa Joe vs John Walters

The anxious crowd finally got what they were waiting for as Hurricane John Walters was set to take on TNA X-Division Champion Samoa Joe. This match was one I would hope ROH would deliver to the Boston market but their continues mismanagement instead brought the likes of Colt Cabana, CM Punk, that Nigel guy, and countless other snore fests!

This match was a high impact ass whooping! This is the type of match I want people who say "Wrestling is fake" to see! These guys hit hard and move fast. As a fan of both Walters and Joe, this was a dream match for me and I could watch it countless times. This was a rare circumstance in which I would say Walters was outmatched in the ring as Joe offered tremendous strength and an uncanny speed and agility for his size. Walters remained competitive throughout the match and even appeared ready to take the win, but in the end, Joe was able to hit his finisher, a powerful elevated piledriver of sorts, for the pinfall victory. Tremendous match that earned both men a standing ovation. Simply great!
